Ray Cycling off!

Recently, My husband & I have been going cycling at ECP. No, not the expressway. The all time favourite east coast park beach in Singapore. I’ve been cycling from big splash, past bedok jetty & outward bounds singapore to the end. near a chalet. So, I thought, ” hey, june holidays, let’s bring ray.” My oldest nephew aged 10. On the first trip, he was all nice and meek. So, we went on our second trip. When we went pass Burger’s King, he started to go faster & faster. We went past Outward Bounds & we could still see him at a distance. When we hit the area near a golf course, he disappeared! We thought he would stop at the chalet checkpoint. So, we went on our leisurely journey. The checkpoint was here. Where is he? I was tired already but my adrenline kept me going. So, I went on, Xing cycled ahead to scout. I reached a traffic light, still no sign of him.  Finally, Xing found the michevious little boy with a grin on his face. Sigh. What A Relief! We went on for a while before turning back. I was struggling to cycle as my seat position was all wrong. Luckily, I had gloves on, and that saved my fingers. Ray was beyond any scolding and happily cycling back. huff puff all the way for me & we reached just 5 minutes past our rental time. phew. long day. tell me it isn’t tiring taking care of nephews!
